When I am imaging ideas, I don't see clear or complete images in my mind. Instead, I rely on shapes, colors and feelings to complete the image. I want my pieces to feel familiar and almost childlike;  I want to show that you don’t have to create perfect art to be an artist, that creativity can exist in imperfection, intuition, and emotion. If my work encourages someone to create freely, feel understood, or find comfort in expression, then it has done what I hoped it would.
