I enjoy photography because it makes me pay attention to my surroundings and the details, and shooting on film pushes me to be more intentional with each shot. I shot these photos while studying abroad in Italy, where I really wanted to slow down, and I represented that in a lot of my photos by actually slowing down the camera, using longer shutter speeds to capture movement and time passing around me.
